Overall, Kansas City has fairly decent weather throughout the year.
Unfortunately being located in the Midwest, Kansas City does
experience extreme weather days over the winter that include
snow and ice. Although rare, there are days where driving conditions
are affected by snow and ice. 24/7 Express Logistics has established
guidelines for us to provide our customer the most practical service
while ensuring the safety of our drivers.
We have two stages based on the severity of the weather and the
road conditions.
• Stage 1 -Applies when the streets start to get slick. All orders are
billed at the Express rate and we cannot guarantee delivery times.
• Stage 2 - Applies when streets are more difficult to travel and
weather related accidents are reported. All orders are billed 1.5 times
the Express rate and we cannot guarantee delivery times. These can
also be found listed on our Accessorial Charges.
